Sriracha Sloppy Joes

A spicy twist on the classic sloppy joe that cooks in the slow cooker so it’s ready whenever your crowd is ready to eat.

  • 2 lbs. lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (15-oz.) tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup sriracha
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 8 Kaiser rolls, toasted
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat cook meat, breaking up, until browned.
  2. Transfer to a 4-quart or larger slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine. Cook on high heat for 2-3 hours; adjust seasoning to taste. Serve on buns.
  3. Refrigerate leftovers.
